Hello LJ! I wonder if anyone still reads my very first LJ. I'll always have a soft spot for this place. So many things have change in my life.

I had fun participating and granting some wishes on this LJ project last year so here's my list for this year.
You guys should check out the community and make your own wish lists. ^_^; *hugz*
1. Glass or semiprecious stone beads for making beaded jewelry, glass beaded jewelry, broken glass beaded jewelry (to recycle beads), gift certificate for Michaels's Crafts for jewelry/beading supplies. Any jewelry making supplies.
2. Handmade things like scarfs, jewelry, purses...
3. New make-up (love white, red and earth tone colors). Stuff like liquid eye-liner, fake eye-lashes.
4. 80s music (cd with rare mp3s or cds on fave 80s bands). I like 80s new wave and bands like Duran Duran. Duran Duran or Arcadia music videos on DVD format.
5. Japanese / oriental home decorating accessories. Japanese fan, art print with oriental characters. Earth tone colors if possible. Gift certificate to The World Market for oriental home related items. Japanese candy like Poky.
6. Glay (Japanese music band) music CDs or videos. You would need to e-mail me to see what I have and don't have.
7. Gift certificate for Victoria's Secret or Target. Victoria's Secret perfumes and body sprays. Miniature perfumes (Paris, Eternity, Victoria's Secret...).
8. New or on good condition Halloween Wigs / Large adult Halloween costumes.
9. Musical boxes, indoor electrical water fountains or wind chimes. Nature CDs with rain sounds. Candles.
10. Anime on video or MPG format. New series I haven't seen. I like anime like Fushigi Yuugi, Marmalade Boy, Hana Yori Dango, Slayers... you would need to e-mail me to see what you have available.

Another poem I got from Phillip. I can't believe I can inspire him to write lovely lines like this. I got all sentimental reading them. So beautiful!
Longing to see you
Another day breaks and the sun is rising as the
delicate flower opens her petals up stretching them
out to receive the days warmth, and then she smiles at
him.
The a shining star although he is a raging fire seeing
how the flower smiles for him begins to feel warm
inside and he directs a special beam of light at her,
and then the flower blushes.
As the day progresses the flower follows the sun's
movement across the sky, but she is anchored to the
ground and at the close of day she remains shivering
alone throughout the cold of night.
During the night she thinks back on her shining star
longing for his warmth, and the sun far away now is
thinking back to his blushing flower, and he worries
that she is alone and cold this night; he is longing
to see her smile yet another day.

Do you remember February 1993 when a young
three-year-old was taken from a shopping mall in
Liverpool by two 10-year-old boys?
Jamie Bugler walked away from his mother for only
a second and Jon Venables took his hand and led
him out of the mall with his friend, Robert
Thompson.
They took Jamie on a walk for over two-and-a-half
miles, along the way stopping every now and again
to torture the poor little boy, who was crying
constantly for his mummy.
Finally they stopped at a railway track where
they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him,
rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed batteries up
his anus. It was actually worse than this... What
these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's
mother was forbidden to identify his body.
They then left his beaten small body on the
tracks so a train could run him over to hide the
mess they had created. These two boys, even being
boys, understood what they did was wrong, hence
trying to make it look like an accident.
This week Lady Justice Butler-Sloss has awarded
the two boys anonymity for the rest of their
lives when they leave custody with new
identities.
We cannot let this happen. They will also leave
early this year only serving just over half of
their sentence. One paper even stated that Robert
may go onto University. They are getting away
with their crime.
They disgustingly and violently took Jamie's life
away - in return; they get a new life.
Please read it carefully....then add your name at

And I made this "chainmail" choker recently also. It's not really chainmail because it's not all done with rings but it moves like it and I think it turned out cool. I think I'm keeping this one... ^_^

I haven't been here in what it seems like ages. Sometimes I think I should just delete this journal, but I still like to visit sometimes.
Let's see... this week I had my appointment with my Endocrinologist and it went fantastic! My Doctor was so impressed with how much weight I've managed to lose in only three months with the same very low dose of Met and low carbing. My cholesterol was never a problem but now it's even lower than before. He had to lower the dose for my Thyroid medication 'tho. Told me because I've lost weight now it was a little high. My thyroid high...wow, that's a first for me! He told me I looked great... ^_^ And I did look kinda cute that day if I may say so. 30 lbs is nothing with how much I still want to lose, but I think I'm going to be able to do it this time. Go Mari!!!
I'm just having a slice of this yummy cheesecake I make for breakfast now. I made this one with almond extract instead of vanilla and it tastes even better!
